24 - 25 May 2017, Valletta/Malta: ESPON Seminar "Revealing territorial potentials and shaping new policies – Contribution to the post-2020 Cohesion policy debate":

On 24 and 25 May, an ESPON Seminar was held in Malta on “Revealing territorial potentials and shaping new policies – Contribution to the post-2020 Cohesion policy debate” . The event was organised in the scope of Malta’s  Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Particular attention was given to territories with specificities, such as border regions. AEBR took part in this seminar due to the fact that the association successfully participated with the project proposal “Cross-Border Public Services” in the recent ESPON call for “Targeted Analyses”.

Intensive talks with some of the project stakeholders and the Director of ESPON, Ms. Ilona Raugze, who was invited to the AEBR Annual Conference 2017 in Badajoz/Extremadura, took place on that occasion as well.
