Association of European Border Regions (AEBR)

The services provided by AEBR include:

development and implementation of cross-border co-operation in Europe;
identification and analysis of the problems at the internal and external borders of the European Union;
elaboration of proposals to solve existing problems;
further development of concepts and methods for cross-border co-operation;
assistance in the foundation and development of new Euroregions and any other cross-border structure;
creation of both general and subject-specific networks in order to enable all European cross-border regions to exchange information and know-how;
co-ordination and formulation of the joint European interests of all border regions;

representation and implementation of these interests at parliaments, authorities and other institutions, particularly at European level;
detailed information about political and other developments related to cross-border issues, problems and solutions.

Publications database
organisation of networks of (cross-) border issues in specific fields to coordinate efforts, exchange practical experience and develop common projects (task forces).
