AEBR Executive Committee Meeting, General Assembly and Annual Conference 2011

Kursk, Euroregion Yaroslavna, Russian Federation
Veranstaltungsort: Kursk, Russian Federation

Dear Sir or Madam,

On 2nd May 2011 we sent you first information and preliminary programme of the General Assembly and Annual Conference of AEBR that takes place on 22-24 September 2011 in Kursk. Prior to the conference in Kursk a seminar on border policies and cross-border cooperation in the EU and the Russian Federation will take place in Moscow. Attached please find the updated programme of both events as well as information on accommodation and travelling, and a registration form.

In order to enter the Russian Federation, most foreign citizens need a visa. The participants of the conference have to apply individually for the visa at the responsible Russian consulate / embassy, however with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation the effort to obtain a visa will not be particularly high. After having forwarded the names of the potential participants of the conference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow, we will receive further instructions for the participants how to apply for the visa. Please, wait for them before you apply for the visa.

In order to be able to support you in applying for the visa, we kindly ask you once again to send to the AEBR Secretariat General ( by 30th June 2011 at the latest following information using the attached excel file:
- Name of the person travelling to Kursk,
- Passport number,
- Address of the consulate / embassy, where this person applies for the visa.

The responsible consulates / embassies will receive in the beginning of July the data in order to ensure that all potential participants of our conference receive the visa on time. Please, send us this information even if you don’t know yet if you will really be able to participate in the AEBR Annual Conference! You can submit the official registration form later on. It’s just important that your name is on our list in case that you apply for a visa.

We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and remain

with best regards

Martín Guillermo Ramírez
Secretary General
