The EU Committee of the Regions (CoR) organises a conference on “The Digital Agenda for Europe: what role for regions and cities” on 2 July in Brussels. You can find now the conference programme on the following web page: http://www.cor.europa.eu/en/news/events/Pages/europe-2020-conference-digital-agenda.aspx.

Registration is open until 24 June 2013.

From the perspective of regional and local authorities, the conference will focus on the main priorities of the flagship initiative: the development of regional digital strategies, digital entrepreneurship, e-government and e-participation, etc.

It will be a platform for gathering political input from the local level on the delivery of the flagship initiative, but also for exchanging experience and good practice in digital policies.

The event is primarily aimed at policy makers and senior experts of national, regional and local public administrations, as well as specialists from academia, businesses, networks and associations.

For further information, please contact the CoR conference team (please see details above).
