The objective of the conference will be to present best practices of cross-border cooperation in the field of crisis management in preventing and dealing with cross-border natural disasters in European border regions and to identify remaining obstacles in this filed. The participants will also discuss the most frequent problems encountered as well as how to overcome them.

Mr Pavel Branda, who is also Vice-President of the Association of European Border Region, will open the conference.
