AEBR attended 4th ARLEM Plenary Session on 18 February 2013 in Brussels:

The 4th plenary session of the Euro-Mediterranean Regional and Local Assembly (ARLEM) was held in Brussels on 18 February 2013. Local and regional politicians, supported by the Union for the Mediterranean, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Commission gathered on that occasion and discussed about the priorities boosting regional cooperation, consolidating decentralisation and strengthening institutional capacity at local level.  This set of priorities will guide the work of ARLEM to help facilitate the reform processes in the region.

A press release, links to the Annual Report, to the Report on Vocational Training and the Report on Sustainable Tourism, adopted during the session, as well as a short video can be found at http://cor.europa.eu/en/news/pr/Pages/arlem-plenary-regional-cooperation-democracy.aspx.
