Public hearing on the new Estonia - Latvia Programme document will be held in April 
The public hearing events on the Estonia - Latvia Programme 2014-2020 programme document will be held in April 2014 separately in Estonia and Latvia, the Joint Programming Committee decided during its last meeting on February 12-13 in Pärnu,Estonia. All interested stakeholders will be asked to express their opinion on the programme document for the new period.

Vision and mission statements formulated for Estonia - Latvia Programme 2014-2020

The Joint Programming Committee of Estonia - Latvia Programme 2014-2020 approved the final wording of vision and mission statements for the new Programme on February 13 in Pärnu, Estonia. The statements will be used for the first time in the Programme document, and afterwards in public communication about the Programme.

Eight writers to join forces on stories about Estonia - Latvia cooperation 

Eight writers from Estonia and Latvia met on February 7, 2014 in Taagepera, Estonia, to agree on common principles for writing short stories about Estonia - Latvia cooperation initiatives. A publication with these stories, featuring each of the 67 projects supported by Estonia - Latvia Programme, will be released in spring 2014 in Estonian and Latvian.

Renovated Valga - Valka railway station opened for passangers 

The Valga - Valka Railway station was opened after renovation for passangers on December 22, 2013, with a festive ceremony, featuring artists from Estonia and Latvia. This railway station renovation was possible thanks to the support from Estonia - Latvia Programme.
