A delegation of the AEBR and the CESCI composed by both secretaries general Martin Guillermo and Gyula Ocskay, Ervin Erős (Director of CESCI Balkans), Johannes Moisio (Chairman of the TFEB) and Ana Nikolov (CESCI Balkans and AEBR Balkan Centre), met Mr Zlatan Klokic, Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation of the Republika Srspka and his team in Banja Luka.

All participants in the meeting agreed on the values of cooperation, particularly at cross-border level in Wester Balkans, in order to normalize and facilitate relationship between neighbours, adding value to the European building. They signed a memorandum of understanding with the main purpose to strengthen cross-border cooperation and for a more efficient implementation of the European integration process in the area. They will prepare international project proposals in the field of CBC and European integration, and will cooperate in organizing and implementing international conferences, summer schools and forums. CESCI Balkans and AEBR Balkan Centre will organize seminars and courses, and provide expert services for certain fields.

The AEBR Task Force External Borders met the previous evening and worked on several events for 2016: the VIII Youth Forum in Banja Luka in the summer, a workshop in Görlitz in September during the Annual Conference, a round table in St. Petersburg in October during the All-Russian Forum, and a possible event in Ukraine.
