About the Association of European Border Regions

The Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) is a Europe-wide organisation representing border and cross-border (CB) regions with the aim to: highlight their particular problems, opportunities, tasks and projects and make them understandable and visible; represent their overall interests towards national and international authorities and institutions; initiate, support and coordinate their co-operation throughout Europe; exchange experiences and information to formulate and coordinate common interests from the various problems and opportunities of border regions, and to offer solutions; promote cross-border cooperation (CBC) structures, projects and programmes; assist in the identification, preparation and implementation of CBC events and other activities.

AEBR has its official headquarters in Gronau (Westphalia), in the facilities of Euregio (DE/NL). Another office is operational in Berlin, hosted by PERGO Management (an AEBR partner).

 

About the job:

The job is full-time (39 hours/week) and based in AEBR’s Berlin office. As a suitable candidate, you will assist AEBR team in administrative, logistic and communication tasks and you will help with the successful implementation of two EU projects in the field of cross-border cooperation. The two EU projects are: “Interreg Volunteer Youth” (IVY) & “B-Solutions

 

Requirements:

You are a young, motivated and reliable person with excellent command of oral & written English and another European language. You are able to learn well & fast, you are flexible, well-organised, able to work independently, and you have strong multitasking skills. You can fit a small, dynamic and international team. Having a previous experience in assisting the management of an international project (administrative & logistic support) is a plus.
