FORUM GOALS 2013: to discuss practical issues of building a unified system of State Territorial Strategic Planning and Territorial Cooperation in Russia within new legislative framework and to provide examples of the best international and Russian experience of system solutions for development , management and implementation of STRATEGIES, based on the current challenges of globalization and transition to green economy, creative technologies and cluster development , increasing importance of innovation, human and social capital.

FORUM ORGANIZERS: State Duma of the Russian Federation, Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation, Ministry for Finance of the Russian Federation, Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Saint-Petersburg City Administration, Center of Strategic Research, ICSER Leontief Centre.

FORUM MISSION: To enhance the balanced and sustainable development of the regions and cities of Russia by means of improving the system of territorial strategic planning, supporting coordination and public dialog on long-term development priorities, and creating and promoting up-to-date standards of planning.
Following Events will take place in the framework of the Core International Forum theme - BUILDING THE SYSTEM FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT:

 VI INTERNATIONAL ROUND TABLE ON EUROPEAN COOPERATION FOR REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT devoted to European and international regional policy, the Cohesion program, EU BSR STRATEGY AND BSR PROGRAMME 2014- 2020 etc

 VASAB ROUND TABLE focused on the priorities of the Russian Chairmanship in the VASAB Committee 2012-2013 and specifically on the URBAN RURAL PARTNESHIP FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

 FORUM GREEN DAY promoting GREEN PARTNERSHIPS AND SYSTEMS , the Nordic region as a leader in green growth development, and bringing together Nordic and Russian partners of the strategic umbrella project: Nordic-Russian Green Growth Arena

The two-day Forum program will host 25-30 events, in which the above mentioned and other topics will have comprehensive coverage. The organizers of the events are federal ministries, International organizations, and the leading consulting and expert organizations in Russia and the world.

Registered participant may submit a report corresponding to the Forum topic (maximum length 20000 characters). The final deadline to submit a report is November 30, 2013.
