Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) starts delivering the expected results:

After two months of life, Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) starts delivering its expected results: the 1-year pilot project managed by AEBR on behalf of the European Commission can already count on two volunteers deployed on the ground. Manon, French student started her experience in Hungary at the Danube Transnational Programme, and Jasmin, German student, is about to start her adventure in Poland at the South Baltic Joint Secretariat. The two first volunteers will participate to the Open Door/Europe Day event in Brussels next to colleagues from European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional Policy in order to promote Interreg and their activities as Interreg Reporters.

Martin Guillermo Ramirez, AEBR’s Secretary-General, attended and spoke at the “European Solidarity Corps Stakeholder Forum” on 12 April in Brussels and managed to share some insights on IVY. He is also attending the Interreg Annual Meeting these days in Malta: another great occasion to make IVY visible and attract new host organisations.
