b-solutions cases on Data Hub for EU Border Regions for improved visibility of obstacles

The European Commission’s Data Hub for EU Border Regions displays 191 b-solutions cases and allows for an easier access to relevant information of the individual cases.

The integration of b-solutions’ cases on the Data Hub’s webmap of geolocalised cross-border interactions enables:

• An overview of the cases on a map, so that it’s possible to visualise the obstacles in the region where it was observed;
• Immediate access to the report of the expert and its summary, when available, with a direct link pinned to the case, so that readers can find out more about the exact case they are interested in.

The webmap of geolocalised cross-border interactions is an interactive tool developed as part of the Data Hub for EU Border Regions, an initiative DG REGIO and the Joint Research Centre (JRC). It displays data on cross-border interactions across EU internal borders in areas such as public transport, public services, governance structures and border obstacles thanks to the integration of data from various studies and actions, including b-solutions.

AEBR thanks the JRC for the webmap, a tool that greatly improves readability of b-solutions’ finding, and that we wish to utilise to increase the action’s impact towards tackling obstacles that still hinder cross-border cooperation in Europe.
