AEBR has collaborated with the African Union since 207 in the implementation of the AU Border Programme (AUBP), promoted and supported by the German cooperation agency (GIZ). In 2021, the focus on the AUBP on Capacity Building has led to a re-strengthened collaboration with European partners, including AEBR.
A coordination meeting between AEBR, the AU and various experts will take place on 20 May. The conclusions will be included here, as well as some tips for AEBR members and partners who wish to collaborate in this very interesting and encouraging initiative.
