Initiatives by associations and platforms of regions and municipalities

Many are the initiatives put in place by associations and platforms involving regions and municipalities to raise awareness and provide information on the impact that the current crisis is having in border regions.

• ITEM, the Institute for Transnational and Euregional CBC and Mobility at the University of Maastricht, has established a Corona portal comparing measures taken in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
• MOT has alto placed Covid-19 at the centre of its concerns.
• ORU-FOGAR has organized various online events for their members in Europe, Latin America and Africa, and publishes measures and actions implemented by regions all over the world.
• Regions 4 published an article on Resources for regional governments to address the Covid-19 crisis on 21 April.
