A Focus on Youth

Stories of European Cooperation [2018 – 2025]

Since the very start of the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) initiative, managed by AEBR on behalf of the European Commission’s DG REGIO, Interact and AEBR have collaborated on the publication Stories of European Cooperation.

Each issue is composed of a series of articles written by IVY volunteers, highlighting the local territorial cooperation (Interreg) projects in which they are involved. Through their perspectives, the publication showcases concrete experiences of European cooperation on the ground.

Some editions focus on the borders of a particular State (or group of States), while others explore specific themes such as young people building Europe,EU values, skills, and more.

 

              

              

           

           

 

 

 

Youth Manifesto for Cohesion Policy [2020]

Manifesto for Young People by Young People to Shape the European Cooperation Policy. This manifesto which collects young people’s ideas and wishes on how to improve territorial cooperation. The ideas presented here have been collected by European Commission staff via targeted surveys, polls and online group discussions with young people from all over Europe.

 

AEBR’s Youth Charter for Cross-border Cooperation [2018]

In 2017, AEBR published its Youth Charter for Cross-border Cooperation, a framework for improving youth action. Created by young adults from all over Europe at AEBR’s Task Force External Borders’ youth events during 2016 and 2017, the Charter shows youth possibilities to get involved to initiating and implement regional and cross-border activities.
