AEBR is happy to inform you that the European Commission is looking for 10 b-solutions host organisations to lead peer exchanges with Interreg programmes. This initiative is managed by the Fundación CEER.
The Border Regions Peer Exchange programme will select organisations to host 2–3 day visits in border regions and share real solutions to cross-border obstacles. Applications are open until 5 June 2026.
The European Commission launches a call to identify b-solutions host organisations
The European Commission, through the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO), has launched a Call for Expression of Interest to select 10 host organisations from b-solutions cases to take part in the Border Regions Peer Exchange programme, coordinated by Fundación CEER.
The objective of the call is to identify organisations involved in b-solutions cases that are willing to host exchange visits with stakeholders from Interreg programmes working on similar cross-border challenges. These visits aim to showcase real, implemented solutions and strengthen European cooperation in territorial governance.
Hands-on exchanges in border regions
Selected organisations will host one visit lasting 2 to 3 days in their territory. During these exchanges, they will welcome representatives from Interreg programmes interested in learning first-hand about solutions to cross-border obstacles.
The programme follows a practical, peer-to-peer approach, focusing on real experiences and direct exchange between professionals working in similar contexts across the internal borders of the European Union.

The call is open to organisations directly involved in b-solutions cases since 2018, including:
Applications are welcome from cases at different stages of development, from partially implemented initiatives to those that have evolved beyond the initial advisory phase.
Impact and programme outcomes
Host organisations will not only share their experience, but also strengthen their visibility at European level, expand their networks, and contribute to improving cross-border cooperation.
In addition, the results of the programme will be compiled in a final publication, co-developed based on reports from the selected organisations. This publication will serve as a practical reference for other programmes and initiatives across Europe.
