From 31 August to 2 September, the 12th AEBR TFEB Youth Forum and 2nd Youth Innovation Forum took place, co-organised by AEBR Centre for the Balkans, the Drama Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Euroregion Nestos-Mesta, under the title “building stronger knowledge in agricultural technological innovation in cross border areas”. The second online forum on the experience of border regions with the pandemic of Covid-19 and the measures that followed took place on 26 August 2020, shedding light on the situation in border regions from IPA countries. You can find a recording of the online forum in Facebook, while here a summary of the interventions is available for reading.
In 2020, AEBR Center for Balkans celebrates five years of work and close cooperation with CESCI Balkans. To commemorate this event, CESCI and AEBR are working on a publication offering an overview of the results achieved since 2015.
AEBR Balkans actively participated at the Online Steering Group Meeting on the Policy Paper on Youth Participation in the EUSDR on 7 July 2020, organized by EUSDR Priority Area 10 „Institutional Capacity and Cooperation“. More information can be found here.
The online platform “CBC LEARNING HUB” is a joint massive open online course (in short: MOOC) initiative of AEBR Balkans and the Institute for International and Cross-Border Cooperation (ICBC Institute) currently under development. The first e-learning course aiming to explain the characteristics of Interreg programmes with a simpler and more practical language, the platform will address the youth.
