The call for applications for AEBR’s Cross Border Award “Sail of Papenburg” is open.
On initiative of the Ems Dollart Region, each year since 2002 the Association of European Border Regions bestows a prize to a project which stands out for its achievements in enhancing cross-border cooperation.

The theme of this year’s award is:

Covid-19 – re-opening of borders. Joint measures and solutions in border regions.

Awarded shall be one or more outstanding activities in/of a border or cross-border region. An independent jury appointed by the AEBR Executive Committee assesses the submitted proposals. The award ceremony will be held during the AEBR Annual Conference, which will be organised on the 5^th and 6^th of November in Eupen/Belgium and/or online.

Applications must be submitted in English by 01 October 2020 at the latest.
